Feng Zengmu was born in Taian, Shandong Province, China in 1950. He is a member of the Chinese National Arts and Crafts Society, a member of the Shandong Branch of the China Artists Association, and a Senior Painter at the Shandong Painting Institute. There are real international auction prices for his works. He received the title of “Master of Arts and Crafts” in 2003. He is known for painting fish. The fish he creates through his brushwork display all kinds of poses and expressions and are lively and natural. Fish scales showing clear speckles are painted on strong and healthy fish bodies. Just a few strokes make the fish look lifelike and real, giving people an aesthetic enjoyment. Such paintings have been well received by lovers of art. His paintings have frequently participated in exhibitions and competitions held at municipal, provincial, national and international levels and have won multiple awards. His artwork has been collected by the Central Government of China, the Education, Science, Culture and Public Health Committee of the National People’s Congress of China and various local cultural and art departments. He has also had his artworks published in various newspapers and magazines over 200 times.
